A Famous Ghost!!!
You meet a famous ghost. Write the dialogue and describe the ghost.
I was sleepping when suddenly the window opened. I woke up, tired and sleepy, I closed it and returned to bed.
While I was sleepping again, a pot feel down from the kitchen. I opened ones’s eyes wide, I was scared. The wind didn’t trow the window. There was someone…but I had to see who prevented me to sleep. I got up.
I saw a man sitting by window, I understood that man was a ghost, he dressed in extravagant way. He wore knee-breeches, half-length trousers with silk stokings.
In his eyes, there was a beauty.
“Hi, Stefania” he says, “you know who I am, I had many merits such I civilized America, I declared my genius and..for me, you started to love books.”
“Oscar Wilde” I am amazed ” is it a dream?”
“There aren’t dreams in life. Oh Yes, I am the Oscar’s ghost.”
That was the first time I didnt’t know what to do.
“it’s impossible” he speaks slowly “you want tell me many things, I am here for you” he winks at me “what do you know?”
Ok…I trought…there is Oscar, I can discover!
“What is your favourite character of your plays?” I timidly says. “And what is your?” Oscar replys. I was disappointed to his answer.
“Earnest “.
“Me too” he exclaims “I like Earnest”.
That man was Oscar WIlde, he answered that I wanted to hear! All about him charmed me!
“Earnest” he continues “is the best protagonist of my plays, he shows a life-style. You must remember…the life isn’t a lie.”
“In my opinion this name heats the hearth when you listen it. Now…I can understand Gwendolen, isn’t it?”“Oh yes” he said.
So..the time passed, we have talked about my life, his experiences and plays.
Daybreak arrived. It was early for me, but it was late for him.
“I have to go…this meeting finished. I won’t know if I see you again. I am happy that you have known my genius”.
He vanished.
I met Oscar Wilde. This was a great victory.
From that “special” night on my bedside table there is “The Importance Of Being Earnest”..A Trivial comedy for serious people!
