YOU MEET A FAMOUS GHOST. WRITE THE DIALOGUE AND DESCRIBE THE GHOST
It’s raining.
The sun is disappeared behind the clouds.
I’m reading my favourite book, and Beethoven is playing from my stereo.
I’m lone in house.
Unexpectedly, lights go out.
- Oh, no! – I say, and lite a match.
I love matches. Matches have a good heat, and their flames dance brightly.
- Scuse me – says somebody behind me. – Which is the right way for a library?
I turn…there is a ghost!
- Scuse me – repeats the woman, a big woman. – Which is the the right way for the library?Do you speak…?
I back down and, seeing the ghost, I recognize her!
She is the ghost of Agatha Christie, the famous writer!
- Oh, yeah, but, please talk me. Are you Agatha Christie? – I ask.
- Yes, I’m. Who are you?
- I’m Ignazio. Why are you here?
- I’m here for reading. There aren’t many books in the heaven
I smile. – I’ve many books! Come on!
She smiles. – Ok, show me your books!
I read some novels of Agatha Christie, and she is happy when watch my “Death on the Orient-Express”, “The labours of Hercules”, “Mrs McGinty’s dead” and “Taken at the Flood”.
- Hercule Poirot is a fantastic character!- I say.
- Oh, I loved my Miss Marple. I didn’t like Poirot so much
- Wow…
She talk quietly, and is wearing a nice dress decorated by flowers. The look is the normal human look, but she is transparent.
- Do you like reading? – she ask.
- I love reading
After few minutes, we are talking about novels.
- Jules Verne is incredible!
- Do you know Dumas?and Stevenson?
- Oh, I love Conan Doyle!
Agatha’s conversation is very fed.
But when the lights return.
- I must go – she says
- What?
- My journey on the Earth is finish. Goodbye, Ignazio, see you on 2040. Thank you very much!- and, in a smile, Agatha Christie disappears.
I open wide my eyes! I talked with a ghost!
It’s incredible!
I sit down to think over the experience. – Well, Agatha Christie is my friend…
And a new blackout arrives unexpectedly.
- Ave, ego sum Caesar – says the new ghost, an imperator.
But this is another history!

4° Ginnasio! Non so se mi spiego! Che coraggio Lancillotto! Anche gli errori di grammatica ti sono perdonati! Sei stato troppo bravo!
10 e lode!
Nancy
wonderful! Complimenti Ignazio, davvero simpatico il testo. Bravissimo poi ad averlo scritto in inglese.
Una curiosità: come mai proprio 2040?
Nico
